Open Question: Which of these pitchers should I go after hardest in my fantasy baseball league?

These are the top 100 free agent pitchers in my CBS sports league. it is a roto keeper league and we currently have 2 RP Matt Capps and Kerry Wood and 3 SP Liriano, Scherzer, and Ricky Nolasco. Which pitchers should my team spend the most money trying to receive on draft day? Should we be looking at someone that maybe isn't even on this list? This is the first time I have ever been in a roto/keeper league and the first time playing fantasy baseball not on yahoo and I am on a team with my g/f's dad and it seems like it is a lot of work...any advice? lol. Open Question: Im asking lots of questions tonight.. :)?

hey everyone :) just to let you every know...im not a troll im a real girl :) im just bored. i have a couple different guys that i like & don't know which one to go after. there's a guy who i hardly ever talk to, i look him when i go to a resturant where he works, on my lunch break. he said he's 24 & im 19 =/ so there's the big problem. not necessarily for me, but im not sure if he wants to date a 19 yr old. plus he's nice of the "thug" type, he has dreads & alot of tattoos but he's very respectful & im the white girl who in his opinion would "go after baseball players"? so idk what he meant by that, but i'd just like an opinion on if i should "talk" to him, in that nice of way. I receive the impression that he's flirting with me, but i don't want to be too sure. any help? haha =] i know dread heads are fine, plus his tats look good even though he has about 20 of them just on his arms. lol ;]

Open Question: My 7 year old son just got glasses but refuses to wear them. Any ideas on how to get him to wear them?

My 7 year old son just got glasses. He is 20/50 in one eye and 20/60 in the other. He is far sided. He has been hiding them in his desk and pocket because he is too embarrassed to wear them. The eye doctor said that he didn't need to wear them every the time but I don't know exactly what he meant. Does he need to wear them when reading, watching TV or playing baseball. We have encouraged him to wear them but this weekend didn't wear then at every. So my question is does anybody know what the 20/60 and 20/50 mean? When you look through them they do not seem so strong so how bad are his eyes? I asked the doctor but his answers were very vague - like I was an idiot for questioning him. Any answers would be very much appreciated.

Open Question: independent baseball tryouts?

hello, i am a 22 year old left handed pitcher. i was clocked yesterday at 83 mph. i have a 12-6 curve, slurve, and change up. i am not known for my speed but have great secondary pitches with good low location. BUT i have never played past high school, do to a minor broken bone in my wrist(not throwing hand) senior year and family problems down the line. i WANT to try out this year for the independent/international baseball league tryouts but i am not sure on if i even have a shot with every those college players and ex minors out there. so i was wondering if someone who knows what theyre talking about help me out and let me know on if it is even worth a shot??? thank you for your time and answer. are there any baseball clubs like Bat-R-Up (Located in LAS Vegas Nevada) In New York City? I am a 15 year old RHP and i just adore the game. But it is annoying to pay 40$ a 1hr visit at a cage, and 50$ per hr pitching lesson, some places more. Any baseball clubs that have unlimited visits for a monthly fee? Open Question: Can i have a job with this schedule?

Ok, i am almost 16 and i need a job so i can pay for my car insurance, gas, car, etc.. Im going to apply everywhere i can and hopefully find a job. What happens if i receive accepted to two or more jobs at once? what do i do? Is it possible to work mornings at one job, and evenings at another job? Will the emplorer allow me to do that? Another things is that baseball started, and i have practice EVERY day that there isnt a game, except on weekends, and there are usually games on weekends. Can i work out a schedule with an employer for me to work evenings on practice days, and not work when i have games? Or is that too much for an employer to do? Please help me i live in a really tiny town and baseball is pretty much a must.

I have to do a presentation to my physics class, and am looking for a good topic. People often do things like supernovae, or the physics of baseball or music. I'm considering music, but I wouldn't mind doing something more creative. Its so stupid, DH is the best thing to happen to baseball since the arrival of the yankees. I h8 how ppl say "ITS MORE STRATEGY" But its not. No one likes to watch a game where they walk the 8th person then strikeout the crappy hitter. And what more strategy is there? there isn't.

Hi ive had this digital camera for a while and then i turned it on and the LCD screen on it appeared like it was broken glass(if that makes sense) it was basically black and then some white but it literally looked like someone had thrown a baseball through it lol it doesnt allow me to take pictures because the screen will not change from this and i cant look at my pictures its just a messed up looking screen i cleaned off the lens so i dont think thats it but possibly something inside it that has messed it up. Okay I got 2 questions about mlb 2k10 wii franchise mode. I want to play a lot of seasons with my favorite baseball players, johan santana, joe maur torri hunter..etc. So, when I forced the computer to trade with me, i was negative 25mil. Since they only got 1 year contracts, and I am 20 games in my franchise, will I make money? Also, if I can't afford to resign their contracts at the end of the year, do I lose my players? Open Question: Can someone tell me what's happened to our educational system?!?

I have noticed on many social networks when someone is asking the question about this topic vs that topic people say "Witch is better..this or that". Since when is witch used instead of which? Not only is it totally annoying, it makes me think these young adults and kids have no idea how to talk and write within the English language. Open Question: How do I generate power off the tee?

I'm an avid 38 year golfer. I took the game up right after graduating from college- where I pitched in Division 2- in Florida, so it was very good caliber of baseball for the D2 level. When I first took up the game, 460 CC drivers weren't around yet, so I only used a 3-wood. I could hit it 250 yards, carry + roll. Now with the 460 CC drivers, most of my buddies have picked up extra distance on me. I can still hit my 3-wood 240 yards, but my driver is pretty much maxed out at 250. I've tried different shafts, different models, lessons, the works. I can fade and draw the ball, but I need distance. I'm still in pretty good shape- lift weights and stretch 2-3x per week. Give me something to think about... typo, meant to say "avid 38 year old golfer" Tommy Long- that's great advice about putting and driving the ball barefoot- makes perfect sense. What's your swing speed? Why are you using a regular shaft- not stiff? I mean regular shaft with the driver, but then you use stiff shafts with some of the overs. I play with Callaway irons, X-20 irons, and carry a 3 and 4 hybrids already- much easier to hit consistently. Good adive as well El Perro.

Hi My LGBT people! Ok I like my crush a lot and I want him so badly but idk if he likes me or he just wants to be my pal or he’s just being a creepy hetero! I would really appreciate it if you every answer my question!!=D Ok here are some things he does! --Whenever I look him in the hallways alone, he stares at me but when he’s with his pal, he ignores me. --When we run In P.E, he tries to be either besides me, in front of me or behind me (IDK why). --When I hear to music and I lip sing to it, he always tries to read my lips. --He stares at me a lot. --One time I was talking to this dude while jogging, and my crush was staring at both of us and after that he jogged away kinda disappointed. -- We were playing baseball and he was scratching his c0ck and I was staring at it and he caught me staring at him so after he saw me, he was doing it constantly and faster and staring at me. --When I was the catcher in baseball, he just wouldn’t cease staring at me, and sometimes he pretended to be looking at other people when I looked at him. --Whenever we do push-ups or sit-ups, he stares at me! -- We were waiting outside of the gym for the bell to ring, I was sitting down and my crush came up to me and was like staring at me & he seemed like he wanted to tell me something, but then after I looked up at him, he randomly went to drink water. -- I was playing a basketball match with my teammates and anyways I saw him sitting in the bleachers and like he had his legs open and since I like him so much I looked at his c0ck and he caught me looking at him, so I pretended like I wasn’t looking at him. 2 minutes later, i turned to look at him again and he still had his legs opened and again he caught me staring at his c0ck again but he didn’t say anything (Maybe he liked it or something..lol). -- I was talking to this girl from P.E class and from far away, I saw him that he was staring at us -- There were seats available for him to sit at, but he choosed to sit right next to me! Open Question: Leverage incline press or db floor presses?

Hey, well I grew up lifting in a power cage and never used smith machines or leverages. Cable gyms on accusation for seated rows or tricep tug downs. Anyway, my question is what would be better, floor presses with dbs ( where you stack books on the floor, set the dbs on the books, then start pressing ) or incline bench press with a leverage machine like powertec? Powertec is basically a cheaper version of hammer strength. It's the wb-ls model. Since of my height, I would have to incline press on the powertec leverage machine. I ask because I can receive a used one for $300.00. To me, I would prob only use it for bench, maybe bicep curls....if the pulley is good on it. Okay neway to the basic question, leverage incline presses or db floor presses with the books? I need a self spotting or a way to have no spotter....and no smith machines are out of question, bad for shoulders. I don't mind spending $300.00 if the machine will develop the chest better. However, if the floor presses will do better, then whats the point.....So which one would be better? tiny Note: I previous had shoulder problems my one arm, dislocations( played baseball and boxed )..also lifted.

Open Question: Signed up for baseball, now what?

Alright so after playing around, throwing the balls and pitching, batting and catching, etc, i finally decided to sign up for baseball today at my local rec middle. They are going to contact us at the start of april for the schedule and stuff, but i have some questions. How are the teams divided? I know a few friends of mine signed up and I'm hoping i receive atleast one person I know on my team so it wont be so akward. This is my first sport i've ever played (on a team) and im scared to death. And how can i increase my arm strength? I've got a kick-a arm and I can toss a ball across the states, but it needs to go around the world, lol. So how can I toss the ball faster, longer, and farther. I plan on either pitching or being an outfielder. every help is appreciated.
